Ultrasonic Cavitation

What is Ultrasonic Cavitation & How Does It Work?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes low-frequency sound waves (just like you would expect from an ultrasound for diagnostic procedures) to burst fat cells. The converted fat cells are then naturally drained by the body’s own natural filtration system and excreted. This leading-edge technology treatment heats the fat cells and uses sound vibrations to break the adipocytes that are under the skin’s surface. Once the cells are converted into a liquid form, the contents are metabolized through the body and excreted via the waste system. The loss of adipocytes can cause a slimming result in the areas being treated, creating a more contoured look.

Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Work?

Yes! Due to the different body types and unique medical history of each individual, results will vary. It is very important to increase fluid intake, at least 1 liter to 1½ liters of water, before and after the treatment, in order obtain maximum results.

Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Hurt?

No.

What Is the Expected Outcome of Receiving Ultrasonic Cavitation Treatments?

  • Due to the bursting and removal of fat cells, there will be a decreased measured circumference to the treated area. There is an assessment at the end of each visit.
  • Increase tautness to the skin
  • More contoured look to treated site

Are There Any Side Effects?

Clients mention a minor “buzzing” sound that is heard during the treatment. There may be a slight feeling of lightheadedness after the procedure along with a feeling of thirst. This can be prevented and/or treated with increased water hydration before and after the procedure. There is a possibility of increased redness to the treated area that may also be warm to the touch. Redness will diminish within a couple hours after treatment has concluded.

Do I Need to Request Time Off from Work?

There is no down time, so you can receive a treatment whenever you have an hour or so to pamper yourself.

How Long is Each Session?

30 minutes with the ultrasonic cavitation machine is considered one session.

How Many Treatments Do I Need to Get Optimum Results?

We advise at least six Ultrasonic Cavitation (UC) sessions to obtain effective contouring results. But in order to obtain optimum results, we recommend an additional 30-minute session of Radiofrequency (RF) treatment immediately after your 30-minute ultrasonic cavitation treatment.
