Facelift Without Surgery

What is a facelift without surgery?

By accessing innovations of the latest technology, a facelift without surgery is now available. With the combination of radiofrequency energy, microcurrent treatment, and ultrasonic cavitation, the Registered Radiofrequency Ultrasonic Cavitation Specialist (RRFUCS) can utilize non-invasive procedures to achieve a natural facelift.

How does it work?

Radiofrequency (RF) uses heat energy to stimulate the underlying tissue, causing collagen to produce. Increase collagen production reduces the appearance of wrinkles allowing a more natural facelift. RF also reduces the size of pores, giving a silkier, radiant, and younger look. The minimized pores also reduce the entrance of acne producing bacteria in the skin, preventing the formation of pimples. Microcurrent can also be used to stimulate the skin and make it tauter. Ultrasonic Cavitation can eliminate the number of fat cells by eliminating adipocytes (fat cells) around the chin, creating a more defined look around the jowl area. The combination of these three techniques allows a facelift effect without the invasiveness of surgery.

How long does micro current last?

Once a series is completed, the results can be maintained by coming in every 4-8 weeks for maintenance treatments. Additionally, a series can be repeated every few years. If the full series of treatments is completed and maintenance sessions are continued on a monthly basis, results should last 3-4 years.

Are there any side effects that I can expect?

You may expect redness to the treated area for a few hours after the treatment. Lightheadedness and feelings of thirst may also be noted, which the reason why we strongly encourage increase water intake, before and after the procedure.

How long is each appointment?

30 minutes to perform the procedure, but the appointment may range between 60 – 90 minutes. This includes the checking-in process and before and after photos.

What is a microcurrent?

Microcurrent emits extremely low-voltage electrical currents (hence ‘micro’ current), which mirror your own body’s electrical currents, on a cellular level to repair damaged skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production. The microcurrent stimulates the muscle, helping tone the skin. A microcurrent facial is often referred to as a “natural” facelift.

How often should I get microcurrent facial?

For best results, an average of 10 – 15 sessions performed once or twice a week is recommended, followed by a maintenance session.

Does it hurt?

No. We can apply topical numbing ointment to the site, if needed, to assist with the discomfort that may arise.

How many sessions do I need to obtain optimum results?

We encourage at least three to six thirty-minute sessions to obtain optimum results.

Do I need to take off work after the procedure is done?

No. Due to the non-invasive technique, there is no down time. You can return to your regular daily activities

What shall I expect during the appointment?

For the initial appointment, a consultation will take place to discuss target areas. Once photos are taken and plan of care is agreed upon, the provider will begin the procedure.
